Bart is the Jazz Ensemble Director at Sturgis Charter Public School East and at the Cape Symphony he teaches drums and is the director & instructor for the CJazz Program and directs & performs for the Jazz in the Schools program.
Bart has worked with a number of musicians on Cape Cod including: J. Geils, Molly Ringwald, Ken Peplowski, Rebecca Parris, Howard Alden, Shawnn Monteiro, Billy Stritch, Eddie Higgins, Lou Colombo, Dick Johnson, and many more.
Bart is the Executive Producer & Performer for the Provincetown Jazz Festival, Host & Performer for the Provincetown Art Association and Museum Summer Jazz with Bart Weisman Concert Series, and produces & performs for concerts year-round at Cultural Center of Cape Cod in South Yarmouth.
Bart relocated with his wife to Cape Cod from Washington, D.C. and was with The United States Air Force Band and has a B.S. degree in Technology & Management from the University of Maryland and an A.A. degree in Music from Montgomery College in Maryland.
